These rules keep hunts useful, evidence readable, and personal data out of places where it does not belong.
Rughunters uses questing and hunting language to keep the workflow clear, but the reports are about real crypto projects, wallets, contracts, and public evidence. Do not post a claim unless you can explain what happened and where the proof came from.
A hunt should start with a target, a chain, and one clear claim. Good evidence includes explorer links, transaction hashes, Dexscreener links, X posts, archived pages, screenshots, and short notes that help another person follow the trail.
We monitor the platform 24/7 for personal data in open hunts and non-confirmed rugs, including street addresses, private phone numbers, private email addresses, identity documents, doxxing, and similar information. We may hide, redact, or remove that data, and we may limit accounts that post it.
A rug is exposed only when the proof is strong enough for the public archive. Suspicion can start a hunt, but suspicion by itself is not a confirmed rug.
We can remove spam, fake evidence, harassment, private data, malware links, impersonation, and anything that makes the archive harder to trust. We can also hide content while a report is being reviewed.
The app uses necessary cookies for login state and security checks, plus local storage for consent and user preferences. Wallet login proves control of a wallet; it does not give Rughunters access to your funds.
